At Kumho Tyre, we believe in going the distance. Which is why our mileage warranty is designed to give you 80,000 kms of ‘no worries’ driving on the Kumho Road Venture APT KL51, and on the Kumho Crugen HT51. That’s almost the equivalent of driving around Australia 6 times.
With our ‘no worries’ guarantee, if your 4WD or SUV tyres don’t last as long as they should, you don’t pay for the miles missed. From Tassie to the Top End, Broome to Byron – wherever you go in Oz, you’re covered. Some people call it peace of mind. We just call it our Mileage Warranty.
How it works
As a global manufacturer of high tech tyre products, Kumho is so confident in its product it will guarantee you a specified mileage result for the Kumho tyres you have just purchased.
Here’s how it works…
- Once you have purchased your Kumho tyres under this guarantee simply enter your details below to register. The registration form requires your details, the tyre dealer’s details, invoice details, tyre serial number as well as the mileage on your vehicle at time of fitment.
- Keep your mileage service booklet (Kumho recommend you keep the service booklet and original invoice together with the vehicle’s log books), and every 10,000km take your tyres to your Kumho Tyres dealer for a service.
- Once you achieve the mileage we trust you will be happy to purchase another set of Kumho tyres. In the event that you did not achieve the guaranteed mileage, return the Kumho tyres to your Kumho dealer set out in the ‘place of purchase’ section of the service schedule.
This warranty works on a pro-rata basis; that is, if you achieve only 90% of the guaranteed mileage we will refund you 10% of the purchase price. In between services, ensure your tyres are inflated to the correct pressure and inspect your tyres regularly for damage.
Road Venture APT – KL51

Your Rights
Our mileage warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies that you have under a law in relation to the goods that we provide. Further, our goods come with warranties that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. All offers available at participating dealers only. Mileage warranty is a pro-rata guarantee, meaning you are refunded for mileage not achieved. A service schedule is included in the warranty program.

To cover your tyres under this guarantee simply complete the registration form below. To ensure we record your details accurately you will need to supply your contact information, the invoice number, dealer name, service booklet number and the product details of your tyres. You will also need to enter your tyre serial numbers which can be found directly on the tyres themselves.
Keep your mileage service booklet and original invoice together with the vehicle's log books. Every 10,000km take your tyres to your closest Kumho Tyre dealer for a service. In between services ensure your tyres are inflated to the correct pressure and inspect your tyres regularly for damage.
In the event that you do not achieve the guaranteed mileage, return the tyres to your Kumho Tyre dealer set out in the 'place of purchase' section of the service schedule.
